Colorado Board of Health seeks physician for tobacco grant review committee

The Tobacco Education, Prevention and Cessation Grant Program, on behalf of the Colorado Board of Health, is currently seeking physician applicants for a vacant position on the legislatively-mandated Colorado State Tobacco Education, Prevention, and Cessation Grant Review Committee, which oversees the disbursement of a large portion of state tobacco revenue.

The vacant position – a partial term ending Sept. 30, 2016 – is for a “representative of a statewide association representing physicians.” The time commitment is the third Friday of each month, 1 – 4:30 p.m. The physician does not need to be present in person at all times, but can participate through a conference call.

All applicants must submit a signed application form, current resume and a letter of recommendation from the corresponding association by Friday, Feb. 27, 2015.
