The era of big data in health care is here and Colorado has a new tool to help better understand what is and is not working. The creation of the Colorado All Payer Claims Database and the forthcoming release of physician performance reporting at the end of 2013 are major milestones for Colorado that physicians can utilize to improve health care value.

To help you understand what data is available now, what will be reported soon, and what this means for your practice and your patients, the Colorado Medical Society will host a free webinar featuring Jay Want, MD, chief medical officer of the Center for Improving Value in Health Care (CIVHC), and Jonathan Mathieu, PhD, CIVHC’s Director of Data and Research. The webinar will be held Tuesday, June 18, 6-7 p.m. MDT.
