Engaged Public presents the 2015 Engaged Benefit Design Conference

The purpose of the 2015 Engaged Benefit Design Conference is to take stock of we as health care leaders are learning and to chart a course for how Coloradans can be become the wisest consumers of health care in the nation.

The lunch keynote will be Kauvar Visiting Professor A. Mark Fendrick, MD, director of the Center for Value-Based Insurance Design at the University of Michigan. He is one of the creators of the value-based insurance design (VBID) concept and will discuss the promise and opportunities of VBID. Additional speakers are Michael J. Barry, MD, president of the Informed Medical Decisions Foundation and Chief Science Officer for Healthwise – one of the world’s leading authorities on shared decision-making – and Marjorie Ginsburg, MPH, executive director of the Center for Healthcare Decisions and one of the nation’s leading experts in engaging the public in health care policy discussions.
