Encourage your patients to dispose of unused medications at National Take-Back Event: April 27

To reduce the risk of prescription drug abuse and lessen the impact on the environment, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment encourages physicians to promote National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day to their patients. This event allows the public to safely dispose of unused or expired household prescription drugs or over-the-counter medications. The next take-back day will be held Saturday, April 27 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
