The 2013 regular session of the Colorado General Assembly concluded in May and Gov. John Hickenlooper has signed many bills into law that are pro-patient and pro-medicine. CMS’ lobbyists have prepared a summary of these bills, which include prior authorization reform, Medicaid expansion authorization, additional funds for the Clean Claims Task Force, and the regulation of naturopaths, among others.
