Do you need CME credit and enjoy teaching? Participate in “Learning from Teaching”

Thursday, October 08, 2015 03:18 PM

As of March 2013, the AMA Council on Medical Education has approved “Learning from Teaching” as a type of live activity that can be certified for CME credit. “Learning from Teaching” was developed to award AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ for learning activities related to teaching medical students and residents. The credit recognizes the learning that occurs as physicians prepare to teach, but the credit is based on the time spent using what they learned in preparation to teach. This is a great opportunity for volunteer faculty to earn CME credit while precepting medical students.

Program highlights and requirements include the following.

You have an opportunity to teach the next generation of physicians and won’t need to leave your practice to earn CME credit! Don’t miss this opportunity; contact Dr. Bucklin for more information.
